#10 Aida bday, movie at kitchen, basketball

Long time no see !

I will put 3 short stories today.

Check this out !

1. Spanish night !

To celebrate Aida's birthday, she made some Spanish food and invited people.

Spanish Omelet with potato.

2. Cued Ham !

3. Cheese

Good food, nice people and great party

Even Aida cried a lot at the club :p

2. Movies at the kitchen

Every time we watch the video, 

we had to wait for more than 30 mins due to systemic problem.

Still it was good to watch movie together, even Howard talk too much during the movie :]

I remember this day was the day that Palua came to Halmstad !

3. Basketball !!

I play basketball in Halmstad every week.

This is how you use Gym in Halmstad Univ.

1. Register as a membership for 1 year (50 Sek)

2. Reserve the gym for 2 hours (240 Sek)

* If many people play, we can divide this cost.

3. I payed 300 Sek for whole semester, 

but if you play just one time, you just pay 20 Sek each game.

I was amazed that I have to pay for the school gym to use

But there are also good things to pay and reserve system.

1. Don't need to wait until another people finish their game

2. No one disturb us while we are playing

#9 A collapse of an iceberg: Tylosand beach

2nd Visit to Tylosand beach !

The most beautiful beach in Halmsatd province.

I don't really like to do the same things.

But, I visit here twice already.

You will see why I visited here again :)

#8 Ketchup from the hell: Korean dinner

I am living in a dormitory in Sweden, called Krusbaret.

We are using shared kitchen, and meet many people at this time

Like I had some pasta from French friends, it was my turn to give them a Korean food

* Food ingredients




* Me and my best Korean friend, Choi are making Korean food

** We made bi-bim-bab (mixed rice) and sam-kup-sal (Korean BBQ)

*** Making Korean food was harder than I thought

**** Me and Choi were the people who supposed to cook, but some Korean girls help us to cook !

** So delicious and so healthy

*** Since I am not a vegetable-lover, I didn't put much vegetables

**** To mix this rice, you have to put some red pepper souce



*Sam-gyup-sal (Koeran BBQ)

** We cut it, before serving. It's different with Europe BBQ.

#7 Sweden University, class and language

#7 Sweden University, class and language

Now, I am learning Swedish in Halmstad Univ.

I am taking this class for having fun with international friends, not for learning professional Swedish.

So for this post, I want to talk about Sweden class environment and Swedish

* View of Swedish class

** Basically, it is 90 mins class and 3 times in a week.

*** Since this class is for international students, there are variety of global students with different major.

**** Checking attendance is more flexible here than Korea.  2 out of 4 classes are checking attendance and checking attendance at sharp time is just one course lectured by English teacher.

***** Halmstad university is using white board and film projector which I used 15 years ago when I was in elementary school.  My Univ. in Korea is using black board and computer screen.

* My Swedish teacher

** He looks cold, but he has very warm mind

*** He is very tall and I was so amazed with his thick fingers.

**** Average height of twenties Swedish men is 181.5 cm and women is 166.8 cm.

** All computers in halmstad university library are Apple !

*** Since I've never used any apple products, it was very hard for me to using these computers.

**** As you can see the keyboard, there are some unfamiliar words, A, A and O.

**** In Sweden, there are two big reasons that make people learn Swedish very hard.  

One, it is very hard to meet Swedish people in here, since I am here for exchange students.  Most of people I met are people from another countries.  

Second, Swedish are very good at English.  

Even if you meet Swedish, there is no need to speak in Swedish.

***** One idea! I know it will never happen in the future, but I want to tell this to the world for fun.

As I am living here with many people from all around the world, there are some problems in communication.  So, what about all European countries use just English? The languages that European countries using are all in English alphabet and some words look so similar for me, as a Korean. So why don't you just start using English? :)

#6 Life in the bitter cold: Tylosand Beach, Part 1

* One day Verena knocked my door and said me to go to the beach NEARBY here.

** I said yes, and we went to the beach by bike !

*** See what I saw in there !

** In winter, do not ever go there by bike. It is FREEZING!

*** But, it was good to see the scenery while we were going there

**** I guess that people get more lonely when they get old. That's why these people came out to see something, even though it is this cold

## I am keeping trying to find something different at the same place that people visit.

### What I found at this trip is "Everyone has their own way of survival"
